A place to begin

You don’t need to have it all figured out.

You might have years of notes, a handful of memories, or only the feeling that you should write them down. We start with what you have.

01

Find the thread

Gather the moments, people, and places that give your story its shape.

02

Write in your voice

Move from remembering to scenes that sound like you, without forcing a polished persona.

03

Make a real start

Leave with a chapter draft and a simple plan for continuing the manuscript.

The writing path

One memory. Then one page.

Coaching turns a big, vague book idea into a sequence of small writing decisions. Each stage leaves you with something you can keep.

Nora Vale · Writing coach (fictional demo identity)

Autobiography asks you to look closely at your own life. That can feel exciting and surprisingly difficult. This coaching process offers a place to talk through memories, test a scene, and return to the page with a little more clarity. You decide what belongs in the story. The work here is to help you find a shape and a writing practice that feel possible.

Start with a scene, not a lifetime summary.Let the voice sound like the person who lived it.Finish a page before worrying about the whole book.

These sample artifacts show the kind of writing steps we practice. They are illustrative, not student testimonials.

Illustrative learner example

A first chapter opening

A familiar place becomes a scene: the sound of a gate, a kitchen table, the person waiting on the other side. Small details give the opening movement and a voice of its own.

The memory map

A short list of scenes helps the writer see possible threads without forcing a full chronology.

The chapter shape

Scenes are arranged to make a beginning that feels alive and gives the next page somewhere to go.

Start with one page

A small way into your story.

Open a short set of prompts designed to help you notice a memory, find a scene, and write a few honest lines. No email or download needed.

The next step

Bring the story you’re thinking about.

A fit conversation is a chance to describe what you hope to write and see whether this coaching format suits your needs.

  • Six weeks of individual writing guidance
  • One conversation each week
  • Memory and scene exercises between sessions
  • Feedback on your first chapter draft
  • A plan for the pages that follow

Program schedule and fees would be shared before a real booking.

A few useful details

Questions before the first page?

Do I need to have written anything already?

No. Notes, memories, and curiosity are enough to begin. The first conversations help you find a manageable starting point.

What if I’m not sure which part of my life to write about?

Choosing a focus is part of the process. We explore moments that matter to you, then select a scene with enough detail and meaning to open the chapter.

How much time should I set aside each week?

The sample format includes one coaching conversation and time between sessions for writing. The exact commitment would be agreed before enrollment.

Is this editing or ghostwriting?

The coaching centers your own writing and decisions. It offers prompts, structure, and feedback; it does not claim to write the autobiography for you.

Will I finish an entire autobiography in six weeks?

The intended outcome is a first chapter draft and a plan for continuing. A full manuscript takes more time and varies from person to person.

What happens after a fit call?

In a real program, the coach would explain the format, schedule, fees, and next steps. This standalone demo does not schedule or send inquiries.
